Chapter 6: For this project Cole and I calculated the probability of the New England Patriots kickers field goal percentage. We figured out the probability that he would make two in a row, miss both, or make one.
Chapter 7: For this project Dante and I surveyed people to see how many pairs of earrings they had. We made our calculations and a histogram of the data. We concluded that the sample was not a normal distribution.
Chapter 8: For this project McKenzie and I were given a sample of twenty four shoe sizes of eight graders. We used a few equations to find three different confidence levels for our data. From our findings we concluded that as the percent of confidence went up, so did the margin of error.
Chapter 9: For this project Kenzie and I took a random sample of thirty students from Fowler High School to see how long they spend on Facebook daily. Our findings were lower than that of the Business Insider which found on average a person spends twenty minutes a day on Facebook.
